Burglary

In Texas, Burglary is a felony.  A person is charged with burglary any time they enter a habitation or building or any portion of one, when it is not then open to the public, with the intent to commit a felony, theft, or assault.

Additionally, similar charges can be brought in relation to a vehicle or coin operated machine.

If you have been charged with Burglary you may also be charged with the additional felony(ies), theft, or assault that the state believes you intended to commit.  It is very easy for these cases to pile up as the State attempts to pressure you into a prison sentence.  Let the Hersom Law Firm assist you in defending yourself.
